Saturday Blitz Vegas Prediction:

Arizona State Sun Devils

This is a very hard prediction for us to make. But we are going to go with the Sun Devils at home in this one.

We love Devontae Booker and Utah’s rushing attack, and we love the fact that Utah plays a completely different style of football than the rest of the Pac-12. But the Sun Devils have a dominant passing attack, which is what got the best of the Utes when they played Washington State and nearly got the best of them when they played UCLA.

Meanwhile, Arizona State is playing their third straight Pac-12 team that tries to win the games with efficient quarterback play, great running, and limiting turnovers. They’ve dominated the past two against Stanford and Washington, which is another reason they’ll do it again.

Don’t forget UCLA probably took this team likely for three quarters. Arizona State won’t make that same mistake. Taylor Kelly should find his rhythm this week with the offense and finally have the dominant performance we have been waiting for from him all year.

That will also help D.J. Foster, who is still a superstar running back despite his subpar performance last week.

Arizona State’s offense will be more than enough to best Utah, who has just been barely scraping by the past few weeks. It finally runs out on Saturday.

The Utes lose on the road, and the Sun Devils get thrust into the Pac-12 South Driver’s seat.

Arizona State: 31 Utah: 28
