This is the one we’ve all been waiting for since the beginning of the year, but it’s going to be a bit anti-climactic. Yes, Stanford has owned Oregon the past two years. Yes,  Stanford matches up perfectly with the Ducks because they can win the battles in the trenches. And yes, this team could force Oregon to become turnover prone and pull off another stunner.

But we would advise you to bet against it. The Cardinal this year are not as good as they were in years past, with their offense struggling sometimes to avoid crucial mistakes, a very suspect kicking game, and an inconsistent defense. Those things will lead to a solid Oregon victory.

Stanford showed against Arizona State that they can be beat, and Marcus Mariota will do that to them on Saturday.

Let’s also take into account that the Ducks are at home and taking this team seriously. It will have to be a dogfight and they will be forced out of their element to a degree, but we trust this team to take care of the football and come away with another win, staying on top of the Pac-12 North.
