The Big 12 elite is slowly trimming down every week. We can now drop another team out of the championship race for now, but it’s not on a technicality. It’s on a likeliness.

It’s time to bust out our Week 10 Big 12 Power Rankings, and there are now a clear-cut three elite teams that all have an equal chance at winning the conference championship. So as Anakin Skywalker said in the beginning of Star Wars Episode III, “Revenge of the Sith,” this is where the fun begins.

More from Baylor Bears

Match-ups this weekend between Baylor and Oklahoma and TCU and Kansas State will give us a clear idea of who the top team in the conference is at the end of this week. But then it could be jumbled again at the end of the season when Kansas State plays Baylor. Simply put, we have some crazy scenarios that could play out over the next few weeks.

Could there even be a three-way tie for first in the Big 12? Possibly. But for right now, it’s pretty clear where No. 4 through No. 10 stands in the conference. But No. 1 through No. 3 is up for debate. There’s only one thing we can confidently say about those top three teams, and it’s based on head-to-head.

So with the fun set to start, we are happy to bring you our Week 10 Big 12 Power Rankings. And get ready for an action-packed month.
