Urban Meyer led Ohio State to the Big Ten Championship Game with third string quarterback, Cardale Jones, after J.T. Barrett was injured against the Michigan Wolverines and knocked off Heisman runner-up, Melvin Gordon and the Wisconsin Badgers.
The win earned them a berth in the College Football Playoff where Jones, Ezekiel Elliott and a Joey Bosa-led defense knocked off Alabama to get to the championship game where Elliott earned MVP honors in the win against Marcus Mariota and the Oregon Ducks.
This year should feature a renewed hatred toward their rivals after Michigan hired Jim Harbaugh as the team’s head coach in one of many storylines entering spring practice.
