Top 10 Big 12 Running Backs Entering the 2015 College Football Season

The Big 12 has a strong group of running backs returning for this year’s college football season. Here are the Top 10 Big 12 running backs for 2015.
Talk about excitement heading into next year’s Big 12 season on the ground! Seven of the 10 leading rushers from last year are back.

Okay, to be fair, one of those is a quarterback in Trevone Boykin. But even still, seven of the 10 leading running backs who are rushers are also back.
And all top five rushers are back as well.
Essentially, this upcoming season in the Big 12 might be loaded with some great running games, particularly when three of the top five passers are gone.
When you take into account the advanced offensive systems that many Big 12 teams run, it will not be crazy to potentially see three or four 2,000-yard rushers next season.
Maybe that’s a stretch too, but is it not fun to get excited about this? There are even a couple of teams that could have multiple 1,000-yard rushers. And this is not to say there will be no passing game in the conference.
There might just be quite a few elite offenses here.
Any Barry Sanders clones in the mix? Maybe not, but there are going to be plenty potential NFL stars in this mix.
So here are the top 10 Big 12 running backs going into the 2015 college football season.
