The Penn State Nittany Lions close their second spring under head coach James Franklin with the school’s annual Blue-White spring game. Here’s what we’ll be watching.
Penn State will be rocking for the annual Blue-White game on Saturday as Happy Valley will get their first taste of College Football since a thrilling overtime victory at Yankees Stadium in the Pinstripe Bowl in December.

The Nittany Lion faithful should be excited for this season as it could be Heisman candidate, Christian Hackenberg’s last season with the Nittany Lions. Hackenberg posted lackluster numbers last year, but his performance in the Pinstripe Bowl left Happy Valley auspicious about his potential this year.
Outside of the Hackenberg hype, fans will get their first look at a couple of new faces at starting positions. Some key departures were Donovan Smith, Adrian Amos, Mike Hull, and Jesse James. Although these guys were major contributors, I think that James Franklin is going to be able to make the proper adjustments to improve on the Nittany Lions 7-6 record from last season.
Let’s take a look at five things to look forward to in tomorrow’s Blue-White game.
