The Big Ten boasts arguably the best NFL Draft prospect at tackle, running back and at cornerback so where will the conference’s best players be drafted?

The Big Ten is home to the reigning national champions after the Ohio State Buckeyes beat Alabama in the College Football Playoff semifinals and later beat the Oregon Ducks in the championship game, but will they dominate the NFL Draft that begins Thursday?

More from Big Ten

Ohio State’s best draft classes may be coming in the next couple of years with the way Urban Meyer has recruited, but the Buckeyes have a pair of prospects in Devin Smith and Michael Bennett who could be first round picks. No other school in the conference can make that claim, but they don’t have the best prospects inside the Big Ten.

In fact, you can make the argument that the Big Ten is home to the best offensive lineman in Iowa’s Brandon Scherff, the best running back in Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon and the best cornerback in Michigan State’s Trae Waynes. All of them are locks for the first round, but will they be joined by anyone else from the conference?

If not for Randy Gregory’s history of using marijuana that led to a failed drug test at the combine, the Nebraska edge rusher would be a lock for the first round, but now he’s a giant question mark.

Let’s take a look at the Big Ten’s top 10 draft prospects and project where they will be drafted.
