Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones was in attendance and addressed the crowd during Game 2 of the Bulls second round series against LeBron James and the Cavs and Noah unleashed some trash talk toward the quarterback who helped lead the Buckeyes to the national title.
Noah mouthed, “you ain’t in the SEC” which I guess is supposed to be an insult?
When Jones found out about Noah’s trash talk he went at him hard on Twitter, even mentioning him and threatening to put his hands on, because threats of violence on social media is always the answer to innocuous trash talk.
Not that the Bulls and Cavs series needed any more juice with the series tied at 1-1 after the Cavs won Game 2, but this should get some Buckeye fans who aren’t Cavs fans interested in the outcome.
Noah won two national titles for the Florida Gators and was the No. 9 pick in the 2007 NBA Draft and finished fourth in the MVP voting last year.
Jones started the last three games for Ohio State after serving as the third-string quarterback before Braxton Miller and later J.T. Barrett were injured which opened the door for him to beat Wisconsin, Alabama and Oregon to give the Buckeyes the national championship.
He’s got one more to match Noah.
Noah is 6-11, 232 pounds and Jones is 6-5 and 250 pounds, so who do you have in this beef should it escalate any further?
