Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott’s wrist medically cleared
Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott tweeted that his injured wrist has been cleared by the medical staff, ending a long recovery process.
Do not fear Ohio State fans, good news is coming your way. Ohio State running back and Heisman candidate Ezekiel Elliott tweeted his injured left wrist is fully healed after a pair of surgeries.
"After 2 surgeries and 9 months of casts and wrist braces my left wrist has finally been cleared"
The injury occurred back in the Buckeyes’ preseason camp in August of 2014, but judging by his play, it was hardly a hindrance. He ended up having one of the best seasons for a running back in Ohio State history, rushing for 1,878 yards, the third most in the nation, and 18 touchdowns.

Elliott was overshadowed by quarterback J.T. Barrett for much of the season but after Barrett was injured against Michigan, Elliott took over down the stretch with three straight 200-yard games to close the season.
After rushing for 220 yards against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game, Elliott ran for 230 yards and two touchdowns in the semifinal win against Alabama to advance to the championship game. Elliott saved his best for last, tallying 246 yards and four touchdowns on 33 carries in the title game as the Buckeyes rolled over the Ducks by a 42-20 score.
He could not be tackled, often requiring multiple guys to bring him down. As soon as he found open space, he shifted into a second gear of sorts, seeming to pick up speed as soon as he eluded his first tackler. Elliott, along with Cardale Jones provided a two-headed monster of sorts and were a key reason the Buckeyes were victorious.
Elliott is one of my top players to watch for the 2015 season. As far as I am concerned, the sky is the limit for him and the Buckeyes as they look to defend their title. He has should rush for at least 1,500-yards and 15 touchdowns barring injury and could be the seventh player to win the Heisman Trophy for Ohio State.
