Washington State Cougars
Iggy Azalea ft. Charli XCX-Fancy
The Washington State Cougars will run different unique sets to stay a relevant college football program, and with guys like Mike Price in the past and now Mike Leach, it has always included a sophisticated passing game. Leach’s air raid is extremely reliant on the passing game, and in short, it is a fancy offense.
So you already know it is fancy, and it is also fast-paced, so the Cougars are in the fast lane with this offense the whole time as well. Why not play “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX to perfectly represent what is going on here?
Even with a struggling football program at times, the offense is still fancy. And, as Iggy says in the bridge, sometimes they have the whole world asking how they do that (put up such huge numbers). Everybody could get down to this song among the Washington State fan base.
Obviously, the low brass handle the beat while the trumpets do the melody in the chorus. The french horns and saxophones would provide filler, and fans could have fancy costumes for different opponents to make it fun.
You then have the perfect current fight song for those up in the northwest to enjoy.
