Upset with a roughing the punter call against Oregon State, Jim Harbaugh let the referees know how he felt.
Being a football coach is not an easy job. There is no easy way to sugarcoat it. Sometimes, your emotions can get the best of you, and that is exactly what happened to Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh after a roughing the punter call that could have gone either way. As a result, the Wolverines lost their opportunity to get the ball back on offense and the penalty cost them 15 yards.

Harbaugh plead his case to the referees, but his pleas were falling on deaf ears, almost like a parent ignoring the complaints of a child. His point was that the punter cannot be roughed outside the tackle box, but the referees were just not buying what he was selling.

It is hard to deny his disgust for the call. Between his movements and the way he was flapping his arms in combination with pulling the bill of his hat over his eyes, there should be no question about how he felt about the call. We saw in the National Football League how emotional he was on the sidelines and just how passionately he took the game. Sometimes, that meant yelling at the officials and doing whatever it took to let them know how he felt.
Love him or hate him, there is no question that he pours his heart and soul into the game. He may not look the best at times when he does it, but as a football fan and member of my college team, I know where he is coming from and respect it.
