This is the first meeting in seven years for BYU and UCLA. BYU won the first meeting, at the Rose Bowl in 1983, and got the best of UCLA in their last two meetings (2007 in Las Vegas, 2008 in Provo); UCLA, however, holds a 7-3 record over BYU going into this week’s contest. UCLA will visit Lavell Edward Stadium in Provo, Utah, in 2016.

Details for the game are below:

Date: Saturday, September 19, 2015

Start Time: 7:30 PM Pacific, 10:30 PM EST.

Location: Pasadena, CA.

Stadium: Rose Bowl

TV Info: Fox Sports1

Live Stream: Fox Sports Go

Radio: Sirius XM Channel 81; Pasadena- 1150 am;  Provo- 1160 am

A win would be a bigger deal for BYU than UCLA, since the Cougars aren’t in a Power Five Conference. UCLA, a member of the PAC 12, could easily make the Playoff if it wins out. BYU would just about be out of luck with a loss. Many saw the Cougars losing most of their September schedule, but after two big games, the team still has a shot to go 4-0. It’s great to go 2-0 with amazing, game-winning plays, but a third win against a prestigious UCLA team would definitely be a statement win for the Cougars.

Rosen and Mangum are quarterbacks for the present and future of their respective programs. One of the two could end up winning the Heisman. While it’s a late game for the east coast, it’s one you may want to watch until the very end: because who knows if BYU could pull off yet another miracle win?
