Penn State RB Saquon Barkley shows off sick spin move on TD catch (Video)

With an otherwise atrocious start offensively for the Nittany Lions this season, Saquon Barkley made it easy to forget about the woes with just one play.

Is there really anything else you can say, besides wow? I don’t think so.

As the tweet above put it, it was just like playing a video game with the elusiveness that Barkley displayed. Barkley popped onto the scene in one of the most dreadful games I ever saw against Buffalo, but has continued to gain momentum afterwards. All of which came to a head against San Diego State early in the game.

More from Big Ten

We have seen some nice performances so far today with LSU’s Leonard Fournette and Georgia’s Nick Chubb at the running back position, but it looks as though Barkley is set to add his name to the list as one of the most prominent players of Week 4, especially in the Big Ten.

So far through over a quarter of play in Happy Valley, Saquon Barkley has eight rushes for 62 yards (long of 34) and the above reception for 22 yards and video game touchdown. He is leading the Nittany Lions in offensive efficiency and style points with plenty of time to rack up even more yards and points.

Barkley and the Nittany Lions can post as many points as they would like, but if their special teams can’t stop the Aztecs, they will have real problems sealing this game and coasting to victory on their own terms.

I have a particular feeling as though this won’t be the last highlight we post of Barkley today.
