The Tim Tebow Foundation shared video of Tebow meeting the young boy named Nathaniel who was holding a stuffed Gator and had Florida bed sheets, so you know he’s a serious fan of the team Tebow helped win two national championships.
It’s hard not to get choked up when you see the emotion from Nathaniel as he sees one of his sports heroes next to his bed.
Tebow has his fair share of critics, as most great athletes do, but there’s nothing to criticize about his continued selfless acts to do what he can to make memory that will last a lifetime for a sick child.
He’s not the only athlete to regularly visit children’s hospitals as Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks and Anthony Rizzo of the Chicago Cubs are among the professional athletes who do so, but hopefully we can see more stories like this one on a daily basis to try and lift the spirits of some children fighting for their health.
