College GameDay headed to Michigan for Michigan State game

College GameDay is headed to The Big House as Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines will host for their game against the Michigan State Spartans.

The Michigan Wolverines have arguably been the best team in college football since losing their season opener to the Utah Utes, which doesn’t look so bad 10 days into February as the Utes are undefeated and a case can be made for them to be ranked No. 1.

And now the Wolverines will get to show the nation just how good they have become in the first year under Harbaugh who has the nation’s best defense and an offense gaining more confidence by the week.

ESPN’s College GameDay is headed to Ann Arbor so prepare yourself for a glut of Harbaugh content and he’s deserving of the praise and would likely be the Coach of the Year, or at least come in second to Utah’s Kyle Whittingham, if the voting were to take place today.

This game looked like it would be a logical destination in the preseason for GameDay, but at that time you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who didn’t bleed Maize and Blue who would have thought the Wolverines stood a chance against the Spartans after two straight top-five finishes.

However, after the Spartans beat Purdue by three and needed a late score to beat Rutgers, Mark Dantonio’s team looks vulnerable and will likely open up as an underdog in this game.
