Michigan is mighty again. Do the Wolverines deserve the top spot over three unbeatens?

Welcome to the new Big Ten where Ohio State may be the third best team in its own division and Iowa, Illinois and Northwestern will have a say in the conference title matchup vs the mighty East.
These Big Ten Power Rankings are all about performance, nothing about perception. Resumes rule. Who have you beaten? Who beat you? Did you compete against quality opponents or completely fold against the better teams?
Translation: Ohio State has played two decent teams, to be kind, in six games and hasn’t looked impressive. Northwestern’s quality wins mean something and Nebraska’s quality (and excruciating) losses mean something, although 2-4 is still 2-4.
Like them or hate them, here are this week’s Big Ten power rankings. Leave a comment or a question and remember that regardless of how wrong we both might be, fortunately, the contenders will soon be meeting on the field.
