LSU fans know how to tailgate so with the Florida Gators coming to town there was only one thing that HAD to be on the menu for today.

There may not be a better place to be in the world tonight than at Tiger Stadium for the game between the No. 6 LSU Tigers and the No. 8 Florida Gators in a battle of two undefeated SEC teams.

The game is also at night which is the most magnificent time to be at Tiger Stadium where the fans are the loudest in the country. Prior to the game, however, the fans of the Bayou Bengals are indulging on some of the finest cuisine you could ever imagine.

Of course all the normal tailgating items are on the menu, but when Florida comes to town, it’s time to breakout the grilled gator, and that’s just what the fans did.

If you’ve never had alligator before, it’s not too bad at all. Think of it as a tougher version of chicken. If you marinate, season and cook it to perfection, you’ll love it.

As for the actual game at hand, LSU is the favorite as the home team and with Leonard Fournette in the backfield. Coupled with the suspension to Florida starting quarterback Will Grier, the Gators have to turn to former starter Treon Harris in the biggest game of the season for both teams.

A loss for Florida won’t end their SEC east title hopes, but a loss for the Tigers would make things awfully interesting in the loaded West division, especially if Texas A&M suffers their first loss of the season to Alabama this afternoon.
