The Baylor Bears will wear helmet decals on Saturday in memory of the #StillwaterStrong victims.

With the Oklahoma State homecoming parade tragedy still fresh in everyone’s minds, many teams have paid tribute to the program and community in various ways. The Baylor Bears will be no exception as they will sport helmet decals in honor of the #StillwaterStrong movement as they face the sixth-ranked Cowboys Saturday.

The decals were revealed on Twitter by the program, showing the kneeling Cowboy decal they will don “in support of Stillwater … #StillwaterStrong”

This should add to what should already be an emotional environment as the Cowboys look to remain perfect while the Bears try to stay relevant in the College Football Playoff picture.

Baylor looks to rebound from a 44-34 loss at the hands of No. 12 Oklahoma while the Cowboys look to carry over the positive momentum from what was a nailbiting victory against Iowa State by a 35-31 score last Saturday.

More from Baylor Bears

One thing is for certain: Points will be scored in bunches. Baylor ranks first in the entire country with 55 points scored per game while Oklahoma State is tied for fifth in the country with 43 points scored per contest

Even more impressive is the amount of yards both teams have racked up so far this season. With 245.7 passing yards per contest and 292.2 yards on the ground, to say that the Bears have a potent offensive attack would be an understatement.

The Cowboys have held their own offensively as well, passing for 353 yards per contest while also getting it done on the ground, notching 144.6 yards per game.

It is always good to see teams paying tribute and respect to another program. Especially with something as saddening as what happened in Stillwater, a small gesture like this can go a long way.
