UCF Knights

George O’Leary had this program rolling for a few years, and competing with the big boys in the Power-5. Unfortunately the fall of the Knights was almost as meteoric as their rise.

Recruiting in the state of Florida is always a selling point for a coach, and UCF has the nation’s largest undergrad base so the fans are just there waiting to be treated to some quality football.

UCF is a well-funded university, and chances are they could probably scrape together enough money to at least make a decent offer to Miles. However, if money were to end up as the deciding factor, they’d more than likely be outbid by at least two or three other big FBS programs.

This is thought of as a job primarily for a younger coach, but Miles could do the same thing O’Leary did and use it as a chance to build something his way. This is a longshot at best, but certainly wouldn’t be the worst place for Miles to end up.
