The unofficial kickoff to the 2016 college football now has a start date with the SEC Media Days schedule being released on Tuesday.

Two first-time head coaches, Kirby Smart and Barry Odom, will get their first taste of the circus that is SEC Media Days this summer when the four-day event gets underway on July 11 from the Hyatt Regency Birmingham – Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Ala.

SEC Media Days has seen growing attendance numbers in recent years with more media members credentialed for the event where coaches give their state of the team address and convince their fan base they’re going undefeated and winning the national title. Last year’s SEC Media Days say 1,200 people in attendance and that doesn’t include the countless others who watched the coverage on ESPN and the SEC Network.

After predicting the Auburn Tigers to win the SEC West last year, the media members in attendance will look to predict the SEC champion correctly for only the sixth time since 1992.

Defending national champion Alabama should be the media’s pick and the Crimson Tide have a good shot at repeating, but you’ll hear from 13 other coaches besides Nick Saban who believes this year is the year for their team to come out on top.

Below you can see the schedule for when the coach of your favorite team will be speaking to the media. There will also be three players from each team picked to represent their team along with their coach, but those players won’t be announced until the summer.
