The spring game hasn’t even been played but the Michigan football team already has a 2016 hype video out.

The 2016 season could be a special one for the Michigan Wolverines as they head into the second season under head coach Jim Harbaugh.

The Michigan Man returned to his alma mater last year and injected his unique brand of enthusiasm into the program to give them the jumpstart that the program needed after Brady Hoke’s dismal tenure.

Harbaugh led the team to a win in the Citrus Bowl over the Florida Gators to finish the season with a 10-3 record and a 6-2 mark in the Big Ten in his first year back in the Big House.

The second year could see the Wolverines compete with the Michigan State Spartans and the Ohio State Buckeyes for conference supremacy even though they’ll play their rivals on the road this year.

Michigan fans are already looking forward to a season that could see them ranked in the top 10 in the preseason polls, and perhaps even higher, but watching this 2016 hype video will get the excitement levels ratcheted up a few notches.

Before the season gets here there is plenty to work on for the Wolverines as spring practice continues. The biggest question facing Harbaugh is who will be under center when the season begins. After losing Jake Rudock to graduation, the Wolverines are looking to Houston transfer John O’Korn as the front-runner to take the reins of the offense.

And then there’s Shane Morris who returns to the equation after sitting out last season after starting parts of the previous two seasons. Morris could be a casualty of the Hoke era after he failed to protect him and put him in positions to succeed and is still looking for his first touchdown pass.

In any event, the Michigan defense should once again rank among the best in the nation after luring Don Brown from Boston College to be the team’s new defensive coordinator. With Jabrill Peppers poised for a potential All-American season and No. 1 recruit Rashan Gary in the middle of the defensive line, there is plenty to be hyped about if you’re a Michigan gan.
