Georgia spring game 2016: How to watch online
The first game for Kirby Smart as the head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs is Saturday and here’s how you can make sure you don’t miss one second of the action.
There will be a very different vibe on Saturday as the Georgia spring game gets underway without Mark Richt for the first time in 15 years. The long-tenured head coach was let go after falling short of fan’s expectations and in comes former Georgia player and former Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.
As the Smart era gets underway in Athens it could also be the beginning of the Jacob Eason era.
The nation’s No. 1 quarterback recruit who committed to Richt and remained committed despite the coaching change could be the starting quarterback as a true freshman after enrolling early to compete in spring practice.

Georgia has struggled to get quality quarterback play in the last two years since Aaron Murray graduated and moved on to the NFL, but Eason could be the beginning of something special at Georgia.
We won’t see running back Nick Chubb in the spring game as he continues to work his way back from the knee injury suffered against the Tennessee Volunteers on the first play from scrimmage. However, we will see Sony Michel who will have to be the team’s featured back for as long as Chubb is sidelined.
Defensively, I’ll be curious to see how Georgia replaces outside linebackers Leonard Floyd and Jordan Jenkins and how former top recruits like Lorenzo Carter and Trent Thompson have developed in the offseason.
To make sure you can stay on top of those storylines and more, here are all the details for the Georgia spring game so you can make sure you’re tuned into the action.
