LSU spring game 2016: How to watch online
Details on the LSU spring game 2016 so you can make sure you’re tuned into watch Leonard Fournette and the Tigers in action.
Is this the year the LSU Tigers finally live up to preseason expectations and contend for the SEC Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff?
It could be if LSU gets quality play from the quarterback position. Stop me if you’ve heard that before with this team, but if Brandon Harris can have a great spring game and use that momentum and confidence into the rest of the offseason, he could be a completely different player as a junior.
For the first time since he set foot on campus, Harris is the unquestioned starter in what can be categorized as a do-or-die season for the rising junior signal-caller.

I’ve been in his corner since he was a highly coveted recruit and still remain optimistic he’ll be able to show enough to be a difference maker this year.
We know rising junior running back Leonard Fournette is just that after leading the nation in rushing yards per game and could top the 2,000-yard barrier this year. He is on the short list when you mention leading candidates who could win the Heisman Trophy this winter, but even if Fournette runs for 2,500 yards, he may not win if Harris can’t help lead LSU to more than eight wins.
Fournette probably won’t get much run in the spring game as Miles wants to keep the franchise healthy.
After avoiding the firing line last year, I think we’re going to see Miles have a renewed sense of confidence and I think that will rub off on his team. Will that be easy to see on Saturday? Maybe. But it’ll be the first glance we see of Fournette and LSU until things get real in 4.5 months.
