Miami spring game 2016: How to watch online
Details on the Miami spring game 2016, the first for Mark Richt as the head coach at his alma mater.
It’s a new era at Miami where Mark Richt is now running the show for the Hurricanes. The longtime Georgia Bulldogs head coach was let go after 15 years in Athens and quickly found work at his alma mater where he is tasked with rebuilding the once-proud program.
I think Miami can compete for national titles again under Richt, but it won’t be a quick fix, not with the way Florida State, Florida, and the SEC raids the talent out of the state. Those recruits used to never leave South Florida, but now they’re leaving at a high rate.
If fans can be patient, and they should be after dealing with Al Golden the last several years, the U can be back to consistently winning 9-plus games and competing with Clemson and Florida State in the ACC.

But that’s the long-term goal for Richt at Miami. On Saturday, we’ll see what’s in store for the present where quarterback Brad Kaaya gives him a nice arm to work with in his first year back at his old stomping grounds.
Kaaya enters his third year as the starting quarterback and is one of the most underrated signal-callers in the country. It remains to be seen how much talent he has to work with, but I think running back Joseph Yearby has a chance to be a breakout star this year.
Those are just two of the players I’ll be watching during the Miami football spring game on Saturday. Here’s how you can make sure you don’t miss one second of the action on Saturday afternoon.
