Ranking the 30 greatest college football dynasties of all-time, including the current run of dominance by Nick Saban’s Alabama teams.
Many might have considered the Alabama dynasty to be coming to an end after they fell to Ohio State in last year’s National Championship semi-finals. It was coming a year after their last-play heartbreaker to Auburn that denied them an SEC championship and back-to-back national titles.

Counting up the national championships, conference supremacy, the domination of those on their schedules, and the competition levels of each era, we’ve come up with 30 dynasties that have made a name for themselves since the start of college football in 1869.
And the Alabama Crimson Tide have definitely made their way far up this list.
