Former Auburn commit Lowell Narcisse has committed to play for the LSU Tigers.

He was originally committed to play for an SEC West team in the Auburn Tigers but after a change of heart, four-star quarterback recruit Lowell Narcisse has decided to give his verbal commitment to another SEC West program and play for the LSU Tigers.

The four-star recruit is the nation’s No. 108 recruit regardless of position, No. 5 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 5 recruit in the talent-rich state of Florida, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Narcisse is the second-highest recruit committed to play for Les Miles’ in Baton Rouge and joins three-star recruit Myles Brennan who will compete to be the quarterback of the future at LSU.

"I'm a Tiger!"

Narcisse has been linked to LSU since decommitting from Auburn in January and has taken unofficial visits to LSU in February, March and today when he was able to give his commitment in person.

“Dreams really do become reality,” Narcisse said, via Shea Dixon of 247Sports. “It’s been a long fun journey. I want to thank God first, for this opportunity. I want to thank all the schools that recruited me and extended an offer to me. I also want to thank my family and friends for their support throughout this process.

“I’ve decided to stay home and play for my home state. I will be furthering my education and football career at Louisiana State University (LSU). My main focus now is helping my team win a state championship.”

Narcisse has to refine his mechanics and improve his accuracy but if he can work on those weaknesses he can be the answer to the quarterback position that has plagued LSU for years.

Now, it’ll be interesting to see what wide receivers, tight ends and other players Narcisse can help attract to come play with him at LSU.
