Kevin Sumlin wants Johnny Manziel to return his calls
Johnny Manziel is spiraling out of control and his former coach at Texas A&M is worried and wants the former Heisman winner to return his calls.
It seems as if no one is willing to help Johnny Manziel as he continuously shows signs of crying out for help with one self-destructive act after another.
We’re not seeing reactions from Manziel’s parents, family and friends who are concerned for the former Heisman winner who was released earlier this year after two years with the Cleveland Browns.
The unemployed quarterback is facing legal troubles stemming from allegedly assaulting an ex-girlfriend and his ongoing troubles with alcohol, drugs, and a non-stop partying lifestyle seem to suggest Manziel has his priorities out-of-order.

There is at least one person who cares about Manziel and that’s his former coach at Texas A&M with Kevin Sumlin telling Paul Finebaum on his radio show Tuesday that he’s concerned about his former pupil and wants him to call hm back.
“We’ve reached out to him and I haven’t gotten a response yet,” Sumlin told Finebaum, via Yahoo!. “What we want is for him to be at peace and be safe. That has nothing to do with football and has everything to do with his life.
“That was my message to him (at the wedding). That’s the only thing we really care about right now. Where he is as a person is more important than football or anything like that.”

Sumlin has been a Manziel supporter and offered advice to him earlier this offseason when he said he needed to make changes if he wanted to resurface in the NFL. All this time later and Manziel hasn’t taken Sumlin up on that career and life-saving advice.
