ACC football odds are out and the Clemson Tigers and Miami Hurricanes are the betting favorites to meet in the ACC Championship Game.

The odds are out and Vegas is awfully high on Dabo Swinney and his Clemson Tigers. And it’s easy to see why Bovada, who released their odds to win the Atlantic and Coastal Divisions in the ACC and the ACC Championship Game on Wednesday, would be with the return of quarterback Deshaun Watson.

The return of the Davey O’Brien Award winner and Heisman finalist could be enough to get Clemson back to the National Championship Game. Clemson is receiving 10/11 odds with the Florida State Seminoles second with 5/4 and the Louisville Cardinals third with 6/1 odds.

The Atlantic Division has the best teams but the Coastal could prove to be the most competitive with a logjam at the top with Mark Richt and his Miami Hurricanes the early betting favorite with 3/2 odds. The Pittsburgh Panthers and Virginia Tech Hokies are a close second with both teams receiving 3/1 odds. Last year’s division champ, the North Carolina Tar Heels are getting 17/4 odds.

Expectations are high for Miami under the direction of Richt who returns to his alma mater after spending the last 15 years as the head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs.

Whether they ultimately win the division and get to the ACC Championship Game may be a bit overzealous, but I can definitely see the top four teams in the division being clumped together with the winner decided on the final Saturday of the regular season.

On the other side of the ACC, if anyone other than Clemson or Florida State wins, it’ll be a significant upset.
