ACC Football Kickoff gets underway July 21-22 at the Westin Charlotte located in Charlotte, N.C. with players speaking with the media on the 21st with the coaches from the 14 member schools addressing the media on the 22nd.

Each school is bringing two players to rep their team and university, including Heisman candidates like Deshaun Watson from the Clemson Tigers and Dalvin Cook from the Florida State Seminoles.

But those two players aren’t the only stars who will be in attendance in Charlotte later this month as 18 of the 28 players picked to attend have already been named to a preseason watch list. Quarterback is the most represented position with six signal-callers but there is also one punter, Miami’s Justin Vogel getting the call from new Hurricanes head coach Mark Richt to accompany Brad Kaaya who may be one of the top picks in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Watson, Cook, and Kaaya will command a lot of attention, but I have to think it will pale in comparison to what Richt will receive when the Miami coach meets the media. After 15 years dealing with SEC Media Days, this should be a walk in the park for him.
