Adidas and Texas A&M teamed up to unveil their Junction Made retro jerseys, which the Aggies will be wearing for their game against South Carolina.
The Texas A&M Aggies are off to a hot start this season, going 3-0 with big wins over teams like Auburn and UCLA. With some more tough games coming up, Adidas wanted to make sure that they’re players looked the part on the national stage.
On Wednesday, Adidas and Texas A&M unveiled their official Junction Made retro football uniforms. The jerseys are meant to celebrate the 1956 Aggies team that went 9-0-1 while winning the Southwestern Conference Championship.
The Aggies will be wearing these alternate uniforms for their SEC matchup against the South Carolina Gamecocks on October 1st. The jerseys are Primeknit, a material that helps players keep cool while giving them full range of motion. You can check out some pictures of these alternate uniforms below courtesy of Adidas.
Unlike other Texas A&M helmets, these will be much simpler. As you can see in the photo above, they will not feature a logo, but will instead have a solid stripe down the middle with nothing on the sides.

Alternate uniforms can be pretty risky for schools not named Oregon. However, Adidas did a great job with keeping these simple while still being aesthetically pleasing. If the Aggies players are as hyped up about these alternate jerseys as their fans are, then they should be playing with some extra energy when they take on South Carolina in enemy territory.
