College Football Running Back Power Rankings: Week 7
By Tyler Brooke
The Texas A&M Aggies are now 6-0 and looking like one of the best teams in the country. Their defense has been outstanding thanks to the help of big names like Myles Garrett and Justin Evans. Meanwhile, the offense is finally starting to his its stride thanks to guys like Trevor Knight and freshman running back Trayveon Williams.
It has been a dream freshman season for Williams, who has started to see his workload increase as of late. He was a huge factor in Saturday’s win over Tennessee, rushing for 217 yards and a touchdown.
Saturday was the first time Williams had more than 15 carries this season, rushing the ball 28 times in the win. This season, the Aggies freshman has now put up 704 yards and five touchdowns, with almost all of that production coming in the last four games.
Williams is going to be a workhorse for the Aggies his entire college career, and you can expect that he’ll only get better as his career continues.
