Jonathan Allen. 4. player. 59. . DE. Alabama

With the way Miami Dolphins defensive end Mario Williams has panned out, the NFL Draft has to be a place where they look for their next big playmaker.

Alabama’s Jonathan Allen is that guy, coming in at fourth in this week’s mock draft.

Allen had 4 tackles including a sack and tackle for loss in the Crimson Tide’s 49-10 beatdown over the Tennessee Volunteers. He’s played an integral part in the eighth-ranked scoring defense and his presence is certainly needed in Miami.

The Dolphins defense ranks last in rushing yards allowed and 28th in turnovers forced. With Allen on their defense, their rankings could certainly see a boost.

Allen is known for his explosiveness off the ball and interior pressure during the pass and run. He’s totaled 21.5 sacks and 33 tackles for loss so far in his four seasons at Alabama.
