The Louisville Cardinals remain in second in this week’s power rankings. The Cardinals put a statement win behind quarterback Lamar Jackson’s seven touchdowns.

Jackson ran for 69 yards for a score on the third play of the game which pretty much set the tone for the rest of the game. He ran for 185 yards and three touchdowns and threw for 231 passing yards and four touchdowns.

The Heisman favorite leads the FBS in total touchdowns with 45 on the season.

Receiver Jaylen Smith caught six passes for 123 yards and a touchdown. Fellow receiver James Quick caught three passes for 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The game marks the sixth time this season the Cardinals put up over 50 points on offense.
