The Florida Gators are 21st in the current AP Poll, winning three of their last four games. They are 7-2 on the season and 5-2 in the SEC East division.
The Gators defense ranks 2nd in the FBS in scoring defense, allowing 12 points per game. They are surrendering just 266.8 total yards per contest, which is second in the conference. Their 155.1 passing yards per game is first in the conference.
However, the defense will be without leading tackler linebacker Jarrad Davis and cornerback Marcus Maye. Both are out due to injury.
The Florida offense is still a work in progress. Quarterback Luke Del Rio has struggled so far, with 1,358 passing yards, eight passing touchdowns and eight interceptions. Running back Jordan Scarlett ran for a career-high 134 rushing yards against South Carolina in a 20-7 victory. Scarlett has 617 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the season.

The LSU Tigers rank 16th in the current AP Poll, 4-1 under interim head coach Ed Orgeron. The Tigers have also won three of their last four games. They are currently sitting at 6-3 on the season and 4-2 in the SEC West division.
The LSU defense ranks fourth in the FBS in scoring defense, giving up 12.5 points per game. They rank fourth in the SEC in yards allowed per game at 312.3 yards a contest. Defensive end Arden Key leads the team with 10.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks this season.
The Tigers offense is led by running back Leonard Fournette. They ran for 390 rushing yards and five touchdowns in last week’s 38-10 victory over Arkansas. Fournette had 98 yards and three touchdowns in the team’s win. Running back Derrius Guice also had a career-high 252 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He is averaging 8.7 yards per carry this season.
