Fiesta Bowl

Playstation Fiesta Bowl: Washington (at-large) vs. Wisconsin (at-large)
Where: University of Phenix Stadium (Glendale, Ariz.)
When: Dec. 30 at 4:00 p.m. ET on ESPN
Last week’s projection: Washington vs. Wisconsin

After fascinating games in the opening week, both Wisconsin and Washington reminded us why they are playoff contenders this past week. Washington put a 60-piece on Montana and Wisconsin had their way with Florida Atlantic. Now this week, one team has a somewhat tough test while the other can relax before they are tested within the conference.

Although BYU is 1-2 on the season, the team and crowd gets up for games like they will on Saturday. Wisconsin  has not had a road test in 2017 and this will be the first one, we will get a chance to see just how good this Wisconsin team is. Can they be a Big Ten title contender and not just the best in the west?

Week 3 Impact: One thing to look for this weekend is what happens if Wisconsin were to lose against BYU, look for Ohio State or Michigan to make their way into this spot as the Fiesta Bowl will want to keep their non-Rose Bowl-Rose Bowl matchup. If Washington were to lose in some crazy, fluke scenario then look for Stanford get back into NY6 contention after losing to USC this past week.
