SEC football in Week 2 had its fair share of exciting games as well as games that could be considered duds. Here are our Week 3 SEC power rankings.

Easily the most exciting game of last week, Georgia went into South Bend and stole a game from Notre Dame. The final was 20-19, and Georgia officially looks like a team to watch in the East. Most impressive was Jake Fromm at quarterback. Fromm, overall, did a good job for making his first career start on the road in a very hostile environment.

The rest of the SEC was somewhat of a grab bag of mixed results. Auburn played a great defensive game against the defending national champs in Clemson. Alabama blew out Fresno State. And Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Kentucky all played FCS teams, and won, but struggled mightily in the process of winning. LSU on the other hand, handily defeated their FCS foe. Mississippi State ran away from Louisiana Tech, a game that will be remembered for its third-and-93 situation.

The surprise of the week had to be Arkansas, and not in a good way. The Razorbacks offense sputtered and failed against TCU, in a 28-7 loss.

The only team to not play this last week was Florida. The Gators game against Northern Colorado was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. Week two also showed that South Carolina will be a force in the SEC East. They absolutely shut down Missouri and Drew Lock, good things to see from Will Muschamp and his team.
