Oklahoma State football vs. Pittsburgh: Preview, predictions, live stream
Oklahoma State football and quarterback Mason Rudolph travel to Heinz Field to play the Pittsburgh Panthers this week. Here’s all the game information.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys have climbed into the Top 10 and is the No. 9 team in this week’s AP Poll. They should get a fair challenge against the Pittsburgh Panthers, unless quarterback Mason Rudolph goes off again.
Rudolph has thrown six passing touchdowns and no interceptions far through two games. His favorite target, wide receiver James Washington, has 243 receiving yards and three touchdown receptions entering Week Three as well.
Rudolph and Washington have been unstoppable through two weeks of action. Oklahoma State football ranks 9th in the FBS in scoring offense this season (51.5 ppg). They have outscored their opponent 103-31 so far.
Their challenge in Week Three is to steal a game on the road against a tough Pittsburgh team. Or at least, they usually are in Heinz Field.
The Panthers football team has been a mixed bag so far at 1-1 this season. They needed overtime to defeat Youngstown State in Week One and last week, three turnovers came back to haunt them against Penn State in a 33-14 loss.
Quarterback Max Browne threw two interceptions last week and was subsequently benched for Ben DiNucci. It will be interesting to see whose under center in Week Three.

Keys to Victory
In last year’s game, Oklahoma State football found themselves in a shootout, although they won 45-38. This season, Pitt’s offense isn’t so good. Although they outgained Penn State last week in total yards (342-312), they couldn’t manage to produce any points. If they can’t keep up with Rudolph and not only Washington but also Marcell Ateman, the Panthers could find themselves in an 0-3 hole.

Prediction
Oklahoma State’s offense is hard to stop. Considering the struggles the Panthers’ defense has faced already, Rudolph could have another near-perfect day through the air. The running backs have also reaped the rewards of Rudolph’s success. They’re averaging 247.5 rushing yards per game as a unit. Not bad considering Rudolph has also averaged over 300 passing yards through two games. It could be another 500+ yard day for Oklahoma State football here.
Final score: Oklahoma State 42, Pittsburgh 21
