After facing the possibility of being canceled, the rivalry game between Tennessee football and Florida is officially back on.

Hurricane Irma caused many games to be canceled but No. 23 Tennessee and No. 24 Florida will be battling this coming Saturday. The Vols will take the trip to The Swamp in hopes of a repeat victory from last season.

Florida, who hadn’t lost to Tennessee since Usher and Lil John’s song “Yeah!” was No. 1 on the Billboard charts, traveled to Neyland and lost 32-28. It sets up as a pretty exciting game this season.

The Gators will be seeking revenge, while Butch Jones and the Vols look to lay another brick in an era of consecutive wins much like Florida did. Both teams have a lot to play for in terms of program benchmarks but also for a possibility of making the trip to Atlanta for the SEC Championship.

It’s games like these that bring us some of the most memorable plays and outcomes. This season is also set up very differently. Although both teams are ranked there are very big differences in the two programs. So much difference that I have no problem making these three bold predictions.
