It’s been a strong year so far for Kentucky and an odd one for Florida. With a 30-game win streak against Kentucky on the line, the Gators head to Lexington Saturday.

This season is defying everything we know about Kentucky Football. I mean, they’re a basketball school right? Wrong. This team is proving everyone wrong so far this season and will look to continue that against Florida on Saturday evening.

The Wildcats have a 30-game losing streak vs. the Florida Gators coming into this matchup, but they may just find a way to win this one. So far this season, Kentucky has shocked South Carolina and been absolutely dominant on defense against the run.

On the other side, the Gators are having an odd year to say the least. The season opened with the suspension of nine players that will seemingly be arrested before the week is out. Not exactly how you want to open a season. The team then fell to Michigan in a completely lopsided victory. While they are coming off a thriller against Tennessee in which they won on a Hail Mary, the Gators have still failed to put it all together. It could be a long, unsuccessful season for the Gators.

It’s odd to say this so early, but this game could be a season definer for both teams. If Kentucky can break the streak, it would be a huge boost for them not only in the polls but also simply in their attitude toward the season. For Florida, a win would boost morale, but a loss could kill it just as quickly.

Here are my three bold predictions for the matchup.
