2. Kerryon Johnson will run wild

Before the season began, Kamryn Pettway was predicted to be one of the top rushers in the SEC, but he hasn’t quite lived up to the hype because of a heel injury. He has missed a couple of games and is currently questionable for Saturday’s contest.

Pettway has only rushed for 3.4 yards per carry when healthy this season anyways, making Kerryon Johnson’s 5.3 per rush feel like a breath of fresh air. The junior from Huntsville, Ala., has 300 yards and an astounding nine touchdowns in three games this season. He missed the Tigers’ Week 2 and Week 3 contests and has amassed eight scores since.

The Week 6 matchup against Ole Miss will be more of the same, especially if Kam Martin nor Pettway are healthy. He will get a bulk of the carries and you can bet the Tigers will rely on the ground game against Ole Miss’ poor rushing defense.

Johnson will post his third 100-yard game in four appearances this season, rushing for close to 175 and three touchdowns, adding to that impressive total. Will it be enough to wrestle the starting job away from Pettway when he’s finally healthy?
