College GameDay is in Fort Worth for West Virginia vs. TCU. Let’s see how the Horned Frogs’ fanbase did with their College GameDay signs.

TCU may have more pressure on them than any school in the country on Saturday. The Horned Frogs are unbeaten and coming off a season-defining win over Oklahoma State. They are in striking distance of the College Football Playoff and still have Oklahoma ahead of them. They can’t afford a loss to West Virginia even if the Mountaineers are ranked 23rd. However, the TCU faithful might be under even more pressure. College GameDay does not go to Fort Worth often, and their College GameDay signs are going to be judged against the best we have seen this season just last week at Virginia Tech.

College GameDay last hosted a show on the TCU campus in 2009. That was the season TCU rolled through the regular season undefeated and just missed out on the BCS title game that is best remembered for the what-ifs for another Texas school because of Colt McCoy’s injury. GameDay showcased the Horned Frogs game against Utah that season. TCU took advantage of their time in the spotlight with a 55-28 win.

TCU and West Virginia were featured together on GameDay in 2014 in Morgantown. It was the last time either school has been a part of the broadcast. Everyone should be hoping this year’s iteration is good as that one. TCU won a come-from-behind thriller on a game-ending field goal.

Another reason TCU fans need to make sure they bring their best with the signs is that this GameDay is going to be remembered and replayed. Lee Corso will be making his 300th headgear pick. It would be a shame if the TCU fans let Corso down on his big day.

Here are some of the best signs of the week:

Not sure that’s how you spell “competition.”

Be sure to check back at the end of College GameDay for Corso’s 300th headgear pick. Will he pick TCU who has been so good to him? Or, will he bestow the honor of this milestone on a team he has never picked before?
