UCF Football: Game preview, prediction, live stream vs. East Carolina
By Matt Workman
Scott Frost has UCF football humming despite having three of its first seven games cancelled.
UCF is looking to continue its undefeated season as they face off against East Carolina on Saturday. The Knights have had a tumultuous season have to shuffle their schedule and cancel games. Despite these challenges, UCF has continued its success under Scott Frost. One of the most impressive wins was a 38-10 dismantling of Maryland who had upset Texas in Week 1.
Posting a 4-0 record so far in 2017, UCF has yet to be challenged by an opponent. Quarterback Mackenzie Milton has posted an impressive 68 percent completion rate while averaging 11.5 yards per attempt. On the ground, Adrian Killins Jr. is averaging 9.2 yards per rush which includes a 96-yard touchdown run.
East Carolina, on the other hand, is 1-4 with its lone win coming against Connecticut, 41-38. Every other game they have played the Pirates have been blown out. The most recent loss coming at the hands of Temple. This game could get ugly fast.
The battle of two teams on polar opposite ends of standing takes place Saturday night and here is everything you need to know.
Here is how you can watch Saturdays UCF vs East Carolina game.

Keys to Victory
Central Florida needs to get off to fast start and not let East Carolina get any confidence. If UCF can put the Pirates away early it should be easy sailing to their fifth victory of the season. Central Florida has been on the right side of some blowouts this year and to keep that trend going it needs to take some shots down field early. Once the lead is in hand, mix in run and pass to keep East Carolina off-balance and secure the victory.
I don’t expect things to go well for East Carolina Saturday night in Orlando. The Pirates have struggled this year and I expect the struggles to continue. UCF is just too much for the rebuilding East Carolina squad.

Prediction
UCF will get off to fast start and put up a couple of touchdowns early in the game and by the second quarter the writing will be on the wall. All East Carolina will muster in first half will be a field goal. As the teams head to locker room at half UCF will have commanding 25-point lead. UCF will continue to score at will in second half and put this game far out of reach for Pirates. East Carolina will add a touchdown in garbage time but the route would have already been cemented.
Final Score: UCF 51, East Carolina 10
