There are many former Heisman winners, but none were more polarizing than Tim Tebow. And that man is the man to be the next head coach of Florida football.

At this point, there isn’t much Tim Tebow hasn’t done. The only thing left is be a football coach and why not back at your alma mater?

College football needs Tim Tebow. He and college football are like peanut butter and jelly. It’s a beautiful mix and it’s only a plus that his Florida Gators need a head coach,

Here are three reasons Florida should hire Tebow as its head football coach.

3. Recruiting

Tim Tebow might be the biggest name in college football history. He is a two-time champion at Florida, a Heisman winner and a first-round NFL draft pick. He was a part of one of the best teams in Gator history.

Who wouldn’t want to be coached by Tebow? The high school seniors now want to be Tebow. And parents definitely would not mind give their 17-year-old to him. He could start to get kids from all over the nation coming back to Gainesville. Right now at Florida, it seems like the Gators are losing the in-state recruiting battles. Tebow would definitely be a great recruiting resource.

And by hiring Tebow, you clean up the image of Florida again. Former coach Jim McElwain came to Florida after Will Muschamp cleaned The Swamp the first time. And now Tebow makes the process so much faster and smoother.
