1. Patience will be on his side

Many schools in the country lose faith in their coaches why too soon. For an example, Texas didn’t even give Charlie Strong four years at Austin before firing him.

Every coach needs time to establish his imprint on a school. Tim Tebow will definitely need some. But because Tebow isn’t like many people, he will have enough time to leave an imprint.

The boosters at Florida will not be so quick to call for a former Heisman and two-time national champion’s job. Tebow would probably need about 4-5 seasons to get the University of Florida back on track. Hopefully the fans are not hoping for a quick turnaround in the Swamp.

Even Tebow couldn’t turn Florida around in three years. The program, as a whole, has a character problem and it never seemed that the team fully believed in Jim McElwain. Tebow is definitely a person with high morals and character and is someone 17-23-year-olds would believe in. Also, he would have their respect.

They have seen Tebow play at highest level and win at the highest level. They know Tebow is a baller and he has that it factor. Kids will buy into his system and would put it all on the line for Coach Tebow.

Coach Tebow does have a nice ring to it.
