After knocking off top ten ranked Auburn, the Tigers are ready for the Tide. On Saturday night, the LSU Tigers head to Tuscaloosa looking for an upset win.

As usual, all eyes are on LSU and Alabama as they face off in a high stakes game in Tuscaloosa. Some have this being an easy win for the Tide, some have LSU hanging around and causing Alabama some serious trouble. Either way, it seems to be a universal decision that the Tide come out victorious once again and claim a commanding lead in the SEC West for yet another title.

The Tigers sit at 6-2 on the season, those losses coming to Mississippi State by 30 earlier this season and Troy on Homecoming. Not exactly the best losses, but LSU is doing their best to bounce back from them. They have ripped off three straight including wins over Florida and Auburn.

While it would seem that LSU has made a turnaround mid season, we will see how real that is this weekend. Here is how you can watch the match up.

Date: Saturday, Nov. 4
Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
Location: Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Venue: Bryant-Denny Stadium

Keys to Victory

LSU has one big key to victory and his name is Derrius Guice. The Alabama defensive front is strong against the run and doesn’t plan on letting up one bit against the Tigers and their star rusher. LSU does not have a consistent enough passing attack to let it carry them to victory against the undefeated Tide. The defense will also have to contain Jalen Hurts and Damien Harris, something that everyone but Texas A&M has seemingly failed to do.

For Alabama, shutting down Derrius Guice is priority number one. Overwhelming and tiring out the LSU defense is number two. They will want to control the clock, making the LSU defensive front spend way more time on the field than they desire to. This game will come down to strength and will, mostly who will play 100 percent until the clock hits zero.

Prediction

Alabama will continue its six game win streak over LSU as Damien Harris rushes for a touchdown and 100 yards. Jalen Hurts will add a rushing touchdown of his own. The Tiger defense will have trouble containing both Hurts and Harris, keeping their defense on the field for most of the game.

Alabama forces two turnovers, one of which is returned to the house by Minkah Fitzpatrick. Derrius Guice will start strong, but ultimately be controlled by the Tide front seven. The Tide will roll to yet another victory at home against the LSU Tigers.

Final Score: Alabama 48, LSU 10
