TCU Football: Preview, prediction, live Stream vs. Texas in Week 10
By Shelbie Warr
After falling to Iowa State for their first loss of the season, TCU football hosts the Texas Longhorns looking to get back on the right track.
In a stunning turn of events, Kenny Hill and the Horned Frogs fell to Iowa State a week ago, pushing them out of the top four. TCU turned the ball over three times, stopping them from having any chance of overcoming the one score deficit against the Cyclones.
This was the first loss of the season for the TCU Horned Frogs and it shook their fanbase to the very core. Down the stretch, the Horned Frogs face the likes of Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Baylor. It still seems as if they will come out on top of the Big 12, but who knows what could happen.
On the other side of the ball, the Texas Longhorns are operating under new head coach Tom Herman and are sitting at 4-4. Although they are only at .500, the Longhorns are coming off back to back close losses against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. The question remains to be answered if that means that the Longhorns are getting better or is the Big 12 as a whole not as strong as it seems?
Either way, here is how you can watch the TCU vs. Texas matchup:

Keys to Victory
The winner of this game will have to take care of the ball and establish it’s offense early and often. The Texas defense has been up and down this season and Kenny Hill will need to take advantage of that, moving the ball down field and getting in the end zone early. While this team struggled to find it’s offense against Iowa State, it would be foolish to count them out because of one bad performance especially with the strength of defensive play in the recent weeks.
Defensive play will be of utmost importance as the Horned Frogs try to get back on track and the Longhorns try to keep up with the front runners of the Big 12 conference. Forcing a turnover or two will lock up a victory, likely for TCU.
Prediction
Despite struggles in the last week, the TCU offense comes back in a big way at home against Texas. Kenny Hill be responsible for three touchdowns- whether those be by his legs or his arms. The TCU defense will force at least two turnovers that will put the victory on ice for the Horned Frogs.

The back and forth decisions between quarterbacks will spell disaster for the Longhorns as one player hasn’t been able to gel with the offense as a whole in the way that Kenny Hill has. Hill will win the day from the quarterback position and KaVontae Turpin will add another punt return touchdown to his stat sheet.
Final Score: TCU 35, Texas 14
