2. Nick Chubb is truly underrated

Talk about model of consistency. Nick Chubb might be the most underrated running back in all of college football, and it’s not all that close. The senior running back surpassed 1,000 yards for the third time in his career and would have four 1,000-plus yard seasons if he didn’t get injured as a sophomore.

After that injury, people seemed to overlook him, but that’s proven to be a mistake. He has turned his status as an underrated back against his competition, torching opponents week in and week out. On Saturday, he did the same.

In fact, he rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, and that’s all while splitting snaps with Sony Michel. The Bulldogs have a loaded backfield and yet no one talks about anything but the defense and the emerging star in Jake Fromm.

If the Bulldogs are going to win the rematch against Auburn or take down Alabama in the SEC title game, they’re going to have to run the ball effectively like they did against Kentucky. This running back duo is flat-out scary.
