4. Christian Kirk’s success almost guarantees early exit for NFL

Junior wide out Christian Kirk has once again had a successful season for the Aggies, showing he is one of the most versatile players in college football today. He finished Saturday with five catches for 77 yards, including this shocking catch tip toeing the line. This kid has been special for Texas A&M since he set foot on campus and as a result is likely heading to the draft in April.

The kid is talented and ready for the next level. Aggie fans everywhere will weep as they read this, but it is true. He showed speed and shiftiness in his separation against the Rebels. The fight he showed from the first snap reaffirmed the gritty, competitive player he is. In the NFL, he’d likely be a return man as well as the slot receiver he plays so well.

If this is indeed Kirk’s last season, which it seems it will be, Texas A&M’s first round draft pick streak could once again see an extension thanks to him.
