It’s crazy that the Badgers didn’t play a ranked opponent until November, but they are still unbeaten. Wisconsin’s recent win over Michigan was a solid one that, paired with the convincing victory vs. Iowa from the week before, gives the resume something to work with.

Still, being perfect should say something – considering the Badgers are a Power-5 school. This isn’t the first week that Wisconsin has been slighted, but they’ll have the opportunity soon enough.

If Wisconsin wins out and handles Ohio State for the Big Ten title, they are going to have a legitimate leg to stand on about being included in the College Football Playoff. 2-loss teams like Auburn and USC arguing for a spot. If Wisconsin can finish off the perfect regular season they’re going to get the nod over most every other team for the final spot in the Playoff, at the very least.
