5. Chip is a big fan of innovation

Seriously, can you see those 10-foot signs on the sidelines in Gainesville? Alan Schechter had this to say from the Huffington Post.

"Chip Kelly was being too creative, or too cute with their playcalling. Chip Kelly is a victim of his own creativity. He is his own worst enemy."

To be fair, the article was referring to his job at being the general manager at the Philadelphia Eagles. That being said, there is no secret that Chip Kelly is a creative genius. However, his philosophy doesn’t seem to go with the orange and blue.

To put it another way, Kelly may just simply be too “brainy” for the Florida Gators. Especially, the fans that want to see SEC football. Football is life in Gainesville. It’s not a toy or something that can be played with.

Kelly’s abstract persona will not be taken very well if the losses come early. Gator fans are beyond passionate about their football team. The idea of someone coming in to perform brain surgery probably won’t sit well with most of Gainesville.
